Staff Selection Commission Western Region (SSCWR) – Sub Inspector
Staff Service Commission (SSC) Western region (Mumbai) Department of Personnel & Training recruits SUB-INSPECTORS IN DELHI POLICE , CAPFs AND ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR IN CISF EXAMINATION, 2014. .
Commission will hold an All India Examination for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police(DP) & Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
AGE : 20-25 Years.Age Relaxation is Applicable as govt Rules.
QUALIFICATION :
Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification.
FEES :
Rs. 100/- for General or OBC Candidates through State Bank of India either in the form of Challan or through SBI net banking for online application. In Case of Offline payable through CRF Stamp
No fee for SC/ST ,Female Candidates.
Candidates belonging to the Physically Handicapped category are not eligible to apply for this examination
SELECTION PROCEDURE :
The Examination will comprise of Written Examination in two phases, Physical Endurance Test (PET), Medical Examination and Interview/personality test.
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The examination will be conducted in two stages:
Paper I (200 marks)
Paper II ( 200 marks)

General Intelligence and Reasoning
General Knowledge and General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
English Comprehension
PAPER-II
English language & Comprehension
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Candidate should have Valid e-mail id and scanned photograph & Signature.
2. Candidates are necessarily required to apply On-line through SSC website http://ssconline.nic.in and http://ssconline2.gov.in
3. The filling of online application contains two parts:
Part I Registration
Part II Registration
4. In Part I registration, candidate will have to fill basic information.
5. Candidate should press ―I agree button after declaration once after he/she finds that information supplied by him/her is in order and no correction is required.
6. Then a page with Registration No. shall be generated. Note down registration number or take out the print out of the page.
7. Part II registration requires filling of payment details, uploading of photograph and scanned signature. Candidates may note that the Registration number given by the Commission and Transaction ID of the Bank should be properly entered in the relevant space.
8. Candidates who have to pay application fee can pay fee online through SBI net banking or cash through SBI bank challan.
9. Candidate who exempted from fee can continue without pay fee.
10. Then upload a recently taken scanned photograph in 8 –bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than12 kb and greater than 4 kb and of resolution 100 pixel widths by 120 pixels height.
11. Then upload your scanned signature in 8 –bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than 12 kb and greater than 1 kb and of resolution 140 pixel width by 60 pixels height.
