ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
A) Professors :
Pay Scale : PB 4:.37400 – 67000/- + AGP:Rs.10500/-
AGE : Not Applicable
QUALIFICATION :
Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record
EXPERIENCE:
10 Years after Ph.D or 13 Years (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) in total out of which 7 years to be after Ph.D; At least 3 years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution of repute
Essential Requirements: Two Ph.D.s guided in career as sole or Principal Supervisor
The following accomplishments during the past four years:
(i) 3 papers in SCI Journals
(ii) One high value sponsored or consultancy project
(iii) Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed courses offered as coordinator and main teacher
(iv) Two experiments or computational design projects with added to teaching laboratories, where appropriate .
Additional Desirable Requirements
(i) One or more patents
(ii) Supervised more than 3 students for Ph.D
(iii)Preparing E-learning material
(iv)At least one self-financed short-term course offered every year
(v) Strong liaison with Industry
(vi)Offering significant support to Institute management.
(vii)High value sponsored or consultancy projects
B) Assistant Professor’s:-
Pay Scale : PB 4: 37400 – 67000/- + AGP:Rs.9500/-
AGE : Not Applicable
QUALIFICATION :
Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with a very good academic record
EXPERIENCE:
6 Years after Ph.D or 9 Years in total (not counting Ph.D enrolment period) out of which 3 years should be after Ph.D. Three years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs. 8000/-or equivalent in a reputed Institute / Industry / R&D Laboratory.
Other Essential Requirements:
(i)One Ph.D guided in career as sole or Principal Supervisor plus one continuing
(ii)Four papers in SCI journals after Ph.D
(iii)Two projects on-going or one on-going plus on completed
(iv)Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed short-term courses.

QUALIFICATION :
Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent with avery good academic record
EXPERIENCE : 1 year
Other Essential Requirement:
One paper accepted for publication in an SCI Journal.
Additional Desirable Requirements:
Two papers in SCI Journals or One patent; may be based on Ph.D work
AGE : Preferably below 35 years.
E) Assistant Professor’s(On Contract) :-
Pay Scale : 15600 – 39100/- + AGP:Rs. 6000/- +
QUALIFICATION :
M. E. / M. Tech with advanced state of Ph.D. work in a reputed Institute
EXPERIENCE : Nil
Other Desirable Requirement: One publication in an SCI journal
AGE : Preferably below 30 year
(on contract for three years likely to be extended for 2 more years and shall be continued on completion of Ph.D.only)
