Staff Selection Commission Hindi Translators Recruitment 2014

Staff Service Commission (SSC) conduct a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Hindi Translators (in Subordinate Offices), Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute and Senior/Junior Translators under Ministry of Defence.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

AGE  : Max 30 Years.Age Relaxation is Applicable as govt Rules.

QUALIFICATION :

(i) Masters Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English/ Hindi with Hindi/ English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level; 

                                                     OR

(ii) Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with Hindi and English as main subjects ( which includes the term compulsory and elective )

FEES :
Rs. 100/- for General or OBC Candidates through Offline payment. Offline Payment can be done through "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps" (CRFS) only
  No fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-service man ,Female Candidates.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

The Examination will comprise of a Written Examination followed by Interview.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:

The written examination will be conducted in two papers:
Paper I  (100 marks)
Paper II ( 200 marks)

Paper-I (Objective Type) 
(i) General Hindi
(ii) General English

PAPER-II (Conventional)
Translation & essay
